We follow the Foundation Stage of Early Years Development Matters which is built around the following 3 main areas

Expressive Art and Design (Creative)
Every week we also have an extra-curricular activity taught by approved and qualified professionals ranging from football coaching, child yoga, tennis lessons, child ballet, musical instruments, French lessons, street dance and many more throughout the year.
Our Staff
Miss Ayten
Co-founder & General Manager
Ayten is our co-founder and has over 30 years’ experience in the childcare profession. Qualified to Level 3, she makes sure that children’s needs are met through researching and arranging a large range of learning activities. She is our main point of contact with parents, as well as covering preschool administration & purchasing, Ayten ensures we maintain a relaxed atmosphere and also regularly updates her knowledge by attending industry recognised courses, exhibitions and seminars.
Miss Jordan
Nursery Practitioner
Jordan is Level 3 qualified, Child Protection and First Aid trained and holds a certificate in Food Hygiene & Safety Level 2.
Whilst completing her Level 3 Childcare, she obtained certificates in Making sense of Autism Level 1, A Guide to Employing an Early Years Apprentice, Managing your Ofsted Inspection 2017, Special Educational Needs and Disability, Being Safe – Effective First Aid Management in your Setting , Characteristics of Effective Leaders , Characteristics of Effective Teaching and Learning , Effective Safeguarding Practice , Effective Use of the Early Years Pupil Premium , Equality and Inclusion in Early Years Settings , Improving children’s learning through play, Promoting Positive Behaviour and Setting up your Childminding Service.
Since joining Little Sparkes in 2015 she thoroughly enjoys working alongside a team who are passionate about the work they do; caring for the children and supporting their everyday learning.
She enjoys all aspects of her role, but particularly enjoys being creative and messy with the children and takes pride in being part of their development.
Mr Atkin
Co-founder & Head of Finance
Atkin is our co-founder and Head of Finance. He is a qualified accounting & finance professional drawing 10 years of experience from the IT/Tech, Educational, Accountancy and the Film/TV industries.
Using his broad business management experience he also manages our digital marketing & social media content production.
Miss Burcin
Nursery Practitioner
Burcin also known as Miss B to the children has been working with us since April 2019.
She is a nursery practitioner apprentice working towards a Level 2 qualification in childcare.
Miss B enjoys working with the Little Sparkes team and she is very excited to learn more each day.
She enjoys taking part in activities, helping children learn and being a part of their development.
Miss Ferah
Nursery Practitioner
Miss Ferah is level 2 childcare qualified and has one years’ experience in the industry.
She has been with us since March and will start her level 3 qualification in September. She is very passionate about working in the nursery, she loves being creative & playing lots of games with the children and whilst always promoting positive behaviour.
Her daughter previously attended Little Sparkes and Ferah could not be happier to work as part of such a capable, caring, knowledgeable and enthusiastic team.
